Floor Mats
Floor Matting needs vary for every business. Variables such as size of business, number of employees, guests, entrances, and more are considered when Floor Safety Solutions evaluates and provides solutions for your floor matting needs.
According to a study conducted by the ISSA, if 1,000 people per day enter a building over a 20-day period where no matting is installed, they will track in about 24 pounds of soil. Per the study, it costs about $600 to remove one pound of soil, which amounts to a astonishing $14,400 just in this 20-day period.
Adding just 10-15 feet of matting or walk off mats at the entrance(s) typically reduces 80% of the total amount of contaminants (think dirt, salt, mud) entering your facilities.

Our floor mats are ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and NSI (National Safety Institute) approved and our standard floor mats are almost twice as thick as our competitors’ mats. Why? The extra thickness and weight mean that our mats will stay in place and they will last longer.
Yes, absolutely. We will provide a color proof based on the logo graphic you upload to us with any revisions for your approval before production begins. Color proofs are usually ready within 24 -48 hours from when we receive the logo graphic file. Once we receive your approval, the order goes into production. Custom logo mats are ready to ship in 5 to 7 business days depending on the type of logo mat ordered.
Mat sizes are always approximate due to normal variances in production. The variance can be 3% – 6%.
Elevator Pads
No, they are not. We make the closest larger standard size to fit your elevator and then we trim the elevator mats in place so that the mats fit your elevator exactly for our clients in South Florida. For clients further away, visit our Elevator Pads page for detailed measuring instructions.
Absolutely yes. For our clients in South Florida we will come out and take exact measurements so that your elevator pads are made correctly and fit properly. For clients further away we have a page of instructions so you can measure the elevator the same way we would so that the correct information gets to the factory for production. We have a saying at Floor Safety Solutions… “It would be our pleasure to come out and measure”.
Floor Mat Service & Cleaning
Currently we provide scheduled mat cleaning service to Miami-Dade County, Broward County and the southern half of Palm Beach County. If you need a one-time cleaning we can go up to West Palm Beach.
Cost – Our cost is, on average, 30% below our competitors! Annually our service will save you hundreds of dollars withour sacrificing quality. Our low-cost solutions enhance your property’s appearance.
Safety – In this pandemic environment, you want to be assured that all surfaces including floors are clean and disinfected. Our cleaning process uses state of the art chemicals that are not only safe, but meet and exceed all OSHA safety requirements. Well maintained floor mats will help reduce slip and fall accidents and limits your potential liabilities. If your mats are unsafe (loose edging or tears) in any way, we repair them at no charge to you.
Convenience – Your staff already has its hands full with the day to day standard cleaning procedures. Our service frees your staff to concentrate on those area where their attention is needed most.

Professional Mat Service – Our service guarantees to keep your floors drier and free from moisture. Our mats stop dirt at the door! Vacuuming alone will not capture hidden and trapped dirt. In fact, vacuuming only gets 10% of the trapped dirt. If your mats are not cleaned properly, instead of being a solution to stopping dirt & moisture, they will allow dirt and mosture to be tracked throughout your building.
