Scraper Mats
Scraper Mats are the first step of this system. These mats are placed outside your building as the first line of defense against dirt, grime & moisture. Mats like our Superscrape feature surface cleats that scrape tough dirt and grime from shoes with the bi-level design trapping dirt below foot level
The second line of defense are Waterhog (scraper/wiper) mats. Waterhog mats can be placed indoors or outdoors, depending on your entry way and the mat you choose. These also have a bi-level design that traps dirt beneath foot level, but also have been designed with a water dam border that holds up to 1.5 gallons of water per square yard. The durable PET fabric dissipates water to make the drying process faster than standard fabrics
Carpeted Mats finish off the 3 stage process by wiping that last bit of moisture and dust off your shoes. Additional solid carpet mats are available like MicroLuxx if you are looking for something ultra-absorbent.
Types of Backing For Floor Mats
When choosing your Carpeted or WaterHog entrance mats, your mats will have a few backings available to you depending on the surface that mat will be placed (hard surface, carpeted, or high traffic). If you have questions, we would be happy to provide the best backing solution for your mat.
